MISSION
STATEMENT
To improve the quality of life for all non-traditional
client groups through a comprehensive information and
referral component; to administer high-risk youth/adult
projects utilizing a holistic approach; to consult in
the areas of urban development and minority sensitivity;
and to bridge the gap between the traditional and non-traditional
communities. |

Future Plans for Our Dream
As Urban Dream celebrates 23 years of service, our strategic plan and vision continue to evolve. Our goal is to continue to develop innovative human service programs and establish best-practices.
We plan to:
- Expand within the Des Moines Metro area to increase our accessibility to target populations.
- Further help the community-based program development and evaluation across the Midwest Region.
- Bringing technology and job opportunities to the inner-city community.
- Develop an Urban Studies Institute with Simpson College.
